Mallorca Wedding at Finca Son Berga

As I’m writing this post on a cold day in March with a giant cup of tea, all I can think is ‘take me back to this day!’ The wedding of Nikki and Mac was one straight out of a fairytale! I first met them exactly one year before their wedding at our pre wedding shoot by in Palma and we instantly hit it off! The pair are so sweet and caring, truly something out of a movie and I couldn’t wait for the big day to roll around. The Wedding was planned by the wonderful girls at Mille Papillons, this team are some of the best in the business and I was so happy to finally work with them on this day! We started with getting ready in Hotel San Fransesc in Palma, a beautiful hotel hidden away behind old cobbled streets. I was working alongside videographers Esther and Jonas from Made In Video which made every part of this day so exciting and fun, they are such a joy to work with! Nikki’s style was immaculate with every little detail taken care of, even down to a personalized painted perfume bottle! I mean who thinks of this?! Genius. It was painted by (thehautepress) on instagram if you’re interested. Such a great idea especially if the Perfume is refillable.

Rebecca Spendlove was in charge of the Hair and Makeup and gave Nikki the most beautiful glow, my favourite type of makeup to shoot! With glasses clinked and bridesmaids dressed it was time for Nikki to step into her Ines Di Santo gown.

After a quick Vogue style shoot on the stairwell (how could we not!) we then sped off to the magical Finca Son Berga for some quick detail shots before the couple met privately before the ceremony to recite their own vows to each other. It was such a special moment and really one of those times where I have to pinch myself that I get to be a part of moments like this. It’s so amazing to be able to witness so much love on a day to day basis. This venue is one of my favourites ever, every corner is filled with magic and it just feels special. Eli and her family take such amazing care of this special gem and we are so lucky to be able to celebrate and work here!

They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony with lots of readings by family and friends and it was clear how much love is had for this couple. After the ceremony we quickly headed up to the Son Berga rooftop to catch the last of the golden hour. This spot just never gets old…

Guests mingled in the courtyard for cocktail hour with plenty of delicious food by Jardin Catering whilst the finishing touches were being made on the dining area by Mille Papillons and florist Little Sister. Beautiful pale pastels and spring florals adorned the tables with plenty of candles on every corner. Just perfect!

As the sun set the dining area came to life with a beautiful warm glow. I always recommend to couples to plan their wedding schedule so that they get a good chunk of their dinner in darkness, the magical feel of candles and twinkling fairy lights is so worth it! After dinner, Nikki and Mac invited guests to the dancefloor and the real fun began! This was such a good party and the dancefloor wasn’t empty for a second! When in doubt provide: Glitter face paint, great music and plenty of tequila and the rest will take care of itself!

Nikki and Mac really nailed this day and it will forever be one of my favourites.
